Enroll in peaksaver® and join over 120,000 Ontario households
who are already helping to reduce the strain on our electricity system. You'll also be helping the environment. How does it
work? Your central air conditioner is automatically adjusted when demand for electricity is highest. It happens occasionally in
summer, but only on week days during the middle of the day.

Joining the peaksaver® program means you can help reduce the demand for electricity in your community. And you’ll feel great knowing you’re doing something good for the environment.
It’s no sweat to participate. Just SIGN UP NOW to allow Brant County Power to cycle down your air conditioning temporarily. It will help reduce the strain on the electricity system on summer days when electricity use is at its peak.
We’ll only do it when absolutely necessary (usually between 1 p.m. and 10 p.m. on weekdays; never on weekends or holidays).
To be eligible you must be a homeowner or have written permission from your landlord of a single-family home with a central cooling system. We’ll do all the work at no expense to you. In fact, you’ll even receive a $25.00 credit on your bill after the device has been installed just for signing up.
